In the Donetsk region, Russian aggressors have shelled the Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant.

According to the Head of the Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, at least 15 people have been injured as a result of the enemy strike. Another 10 citizens have died as a result of the shelling.

This plant, which is located in Avdiivka and employs almost 4000 people, is the largest coke plant in Europe. It is now under constant shelling from the occupiers.

In Makiivka, a Ukrainian town temporarily occupied by Russians, 4 large oil tanks have caught fire.

Eyewitnesses report seeing a massive fire. The unrecognized Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) has reported that 2 people were hurt as a result of the fire and the shelling of the oil base in Makiivka. One person died.

The Metalist factory building is located near the oil base. It also suffered structural damage as a result of the shelling.
